Henrico Schools’ Family Learning Series will feature nine workshops beginning July 10 and concluding Aug. 21. The series will address such topics as dyslexia, back-to-school strategies and dads as super heroes. The series is presented by Henrico Schools’ Department of Family and Community Engagement.

• A Great Start in Kindergarten: How Parents Can Help (July 17, noon to 1:30 p.m., Belmont Recreation Center);
• Empowering Super Hero Dads (July 18, 6-7:30 p.m., Belmont Recreation Center);
• Are You Smarter Than Your Child’s Smartphone? Social Media Tips, Tricks and Secrets (July 24, noon to 1:30 p.m., HCPL’s Tuckahoe Area Library);
• The Must-have Resource for Parenting in the Digital Age (July 25, 6-7:30 p.m., HCPL’s Tuckahoe Area Library);
• Navigating the Code of Student Conduct (July 31, noon to 1:30 p.m., New Bridge Learning Center);
• Homework and Study Strategies for Students with Disabilities (Aug. 1, 6-7:30 p.m., New Bridge Learning Center);
• Parent’s Voice in the Special Education Process (Aug. 15, 6-7:30 p.m., New Bridge Learning Center);
