Table of Contents

The Henrico County Public Schools’ “Community Conversations” series will continue Monday, July 20 at 6 p.m., as an online panel of HCPS administrators and other staff members address questions from previous panel discussions about school discipline, racism and support for staff members, students and parents.

The every-other-week discussions have featured panels of Henrico school leaders, HCPS students, and parents discussing racial equity in Henrico County Public Schools and efforts at community change.

Monday’s panel is the fourth in the series. It will feature William Noel, director of the HCPS Student Support and Disciplinary Review Office; Monica Manns, director of the HCPS Department of Equity, Diversity and Opportunity; Jentae Scott Mayo, HCPS school counselor; and Ashley Waddell, HCPS school social worker.

These HCPS representatives will provide perspectives based upon their positions in the school division, their experiences and their training. Panelists will address questions submitted from participants at previous Community Conversations sessions,
