Henrico County Public Schools’s Life-Ready Expo series will continue Jan. 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The series, which runs through March, is open to all area students in grades 7-12. During the events, students and their families can visit virtual “rooms” to talk with employers across the region representing a variety of career opportunities.
Wednesday’s event will connect students and their families with human services employers, including from the industries of education and training; government and public administration; hospitality and tourism; and law, public safety, corrections and security.
The virtual event will be conducted using Microsoft Teams. Attendees can take part using a browser without creating a Teams account. To attend on Wednesday, visit https://tinyurl.com/LifeReady-Human-Services.
Subsequent Life-Ready Expo events will be held:
• Jan. 26: Business Management and Technology;
• Feb. 9: Health Services;
• Feb. 23: Industrial and Engineering Technology;
• March 9: Arts and Communications.
