Henrico Schools to host job fair Oct. 10

Henrico Schools will host a job fair at Tuckahoe Area Library Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. HCPS is seeking school nutrition workers and bus drivers, as well as carpenters, plumbers, people with experience in heating and air conditioning and temporary instructional assistants.
Representatives from the HCPS Human Resources Department, as well as departmental representatives, will be present at the event.
Qualified bus driver candidates will be paid as they train.

The Tuckahoe Area Library is located at 1901 Starling Drive.

Candidates for full-time and substitute bus drivers must be at least 21 years old; have a valid Virginia driver’s license; obtain a CDL Class B instructional permit or hold a CDL Class B license with endorsements in P (Transporting Passengers)/S (School Bus) and airbrakes; pass a physical and drug test and have no felony convictions.
