Henrico Schools to host ‘drive-thru workshop’ Mar. 23 about advanced middle school coursework options

Parents of fourth- and fifth-graders interested in advanced middle school coursework programs can RSVP to learn more at a “drive-thru workshop” to be held March 23 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the bus loop at Henrico High School.

The school system will offer “Accessing HCPS Advanced Coursework: Fourth- and Fifth-Grade Programming Pathways” to provide information packets and answer questions. Parents and students won’t need to leave their cars during the event but should wear face-coverings.

Middle school advanced coursework programs include the Gifted Young Scholars program at L. Douglas Wilder Middle School and the International Baccalaureate programs at Fairfield, George Moody and Tuckahoe middle schools.

Henrico High School is located at 302 Azalea Avenue, Henrico 23227.
