Henrico Schools to host CTE Career Rodeo Skills Challenge Jan. 23

The annual event will provide an opportunity for students to showcase their skills and creativity to potential employers. The competition is open to students from the Henrico County Public Schools Division's Advanced Career Education or ACE centers. During the event, students will participate in a variety of work-based challenges to demonstrate their skills and critical thinking and problem-solving skills for potential employers.

The Career Rodeo Skills Challenge is expected to draw hundreds of employers interested in participating and requesting resumes and interviews from students. Employers interested in attending should register by contacting Beverly Cocke, HCPS's administrative coordinator of workforce development, at blcocke@henrico.k12.va.us.
