Henrico Schools to host College and Career Night Oct. 22

The event will feature representatives from nearly 100 two- and four-year colleges and universities, branches of the military, professional training programs, and local businesses and government agencies. Attendees can explore their post-secondary options and speak with representatives about programs, admissions, and career paths.

To help families navigate the event efficiently, HCPS encourages students to pre-register online. By completing a brief questionnaire, students will receive a personal barcode that can be scanned by colleges of interest at the event as a way to streamline the information exchange process and minimize wait times.

Interpreters and representatives from financial aid and scholarship programs will also be available to assist attendees.

The event is sponsored by HCPS and the Virginia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers.
