Henrico Schools to host Aug. 24 job fair

Henrico Schools will host a job fair Aug. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the HCPS Central Office Community Room, 3820 Nine Mile Road in Henrico.
The school system is seeking bus drivers, nutrition services staff members and temporary instructional assistants. Interviews with those interested in any of the positions will take place at the event.

Qualified bus driver candidates who don’t have experience will be paid as they train.
Candidates for full-time and substitute bus drivers must: be at least 21 years old; have a valid Virginia driver’s license; be able to obtain a CDL Class B instructional permit or hold a CDL Class B license with endorsements in P (Transporting Passengers)/S (School Bus) and airbrakes; pass a physical and drug test and have no felony convictions.
