Henrico Schools will hold four opportunities to receive community input about the school division’s budget for the 2020-21 school year. Two stakeholders’ meetings are scheduled at Henrico County Public Library locations, and two more will be held at New Bridge Learning Center before the Henrico School Board.

At the stakeholders’ meetings, a short presentation by HCPS budget staff members will be followed by opportunities to comment and ask questions. The two public hearings are simply opportunities for public comment and will include no presentations or discussion. The public hearings will precede the board’s monthly meetings for November and December.

The school division will develop a budget proposal using feedback from stakeholders. The superintendent’s budget is scheduled to be released in January.

The stakeholders’ meetings will be held:
• Oct. 16 at 7 p.m., Fairfield Area Library, 1401 N. Laburnum Ave. Henrico;
• Oct. 22 at 7 p.m., Glen Allen Branch Library, 10501 Staples Mill Road, Glen Allen.

The public hearings will be held at New Bridge Learning Center, 5915 Nine Mile Road, Henrico:
• Nov. 14 at 5:30 p.m.;
• Dec. 12 at 5:30 p.m.
