Henrico Schools report four new COVID cases since Oct. 21

Four public schools in Henrico have reported new confirmed cases of COVID-19 among employees or visitors since Oct. 21, according to the school system.

The most recent cases were confirmed:

• Oct. 21 at Elko Middle (an employee who was last in the building Oct. 16);
• Oct. 22 at Freeman High (an adult who was last on campus Oct. 15);
• Oct. 22 at Holladay Elementary (an employee who was in the building that day);
• Oct. 22 at Ratcliffe Elementary (an employee who was last in the building Oct. 19).

Each of the schools except Holladay already had experienced a confirmed COVID case since Aug. 12.

The new cases bring the total number of confirmed cases in Henrico’s public schools to 46 at 33 different schools since Aug. 12, joining these that were reported earlier.
