[maxgallery id="40811"]Henrico Schools officials named Henrico High School history teacher Greg Lyndaker the county's teacher of the year during a ceremony May 7 at Glen Allen High School. Lyndaker has taught in Henrico schools for six years and previously was a teacher at the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls for four years.
Finalists for the award were Kareem Texler, a math teacher at Deep Run High School; Emilia Texler, an art teacher at Hermitage High School; Sharon Middleton, a fifth-grade teacher at Skipwith Elementary School; and Chris Moseley, a music teacher at Varina High School.
