Henrico Schools’ grab-and-go sites, technology hubs to close for Fourth of July holiday

July 1 will be the last day this week for county residents to pick up meals for students and anyone 18 or younger from Henrico County Public Schools’ grab-and-go sites. The school system will be closed Thursday for the Fourth of July weekend and is closed each Friday during the summer.

Those who stop by one of the 14 locations Wednesday will be able to pick up additional meals for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday if they choose. The sites are open from 11 a.m. to noon. They will resume distribution Monday, July 6. To view a complete list of sites, visit the school system’s “Grab and Go” School Meals page.

HCPS’s four mobile technology hubs also will operate on a holiday schedule. Tech hubs will be open for laptop repairs and other technology issues Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and will reopen July 6. To see the hubs’ summer schedule and sites, visit the HCPS Mobile Technology Hubs page.

The HCPS “hotline” at 804-501-5655 will be closed Thursday and Friday. Operators will resume normal summer hours (8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Monday, July 6.
