Henrico Schools' 'Drive the Bus' event planned May 6

Henrico County Public Schools will host two events in the coming days for job hunters looking for opportunities to support students and kickstart their careers.
On May 6, the “Drive the Bus” event returns, offering interested candidates the ability to get firsthand experience behind the wheel of a school bus (sign up at https://tinyurl.com/DriveTheBusSpring2023). The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Glen Allen High School, 10700 Staples Mill Road. Those interested in becoming bus drivers are invited to drive a course in the parking area and learn about the advantages of becoming an HCPS bus driver. Bus driving experience is not required; qualified driver candidates will be paid as they train.
The on May 16, a job fair focused on opportunities for school nutrition services will be held from 10:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at Glen Allen Branch Library, 10501 Staples Mill Road.
