The Henrico School Board will host an in-person community meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Glen Allen High School to solicit input about the school system's potential back-to-school plans. The meeting is expected to conclude by 8:30 p.m.
Citizens may submit questions for board members in advance of the meeting by visiting this website or by e-mailing schoolboard@henrico.k12.va.us. The board also will accept questions in person at the event.
In keeping with Phase Three guidelines in Virginia, no more than 250 attendees will be permitted at the meeting, and everyone ages 10 and older will be required to wear a mask and will undergo a brief health screening before entering, officials said. Masks will be provided for those who need them. Officials are encouraging no more than one representative from each family to attend, in order to allow for a wider range of people to attend.
