Henrico County reported its highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in a single day Wednesday in nearly six weeks – 52. It was the most cases reported in Henrico since Sept. 10, when 53 were.
The jump increased the county’s 7-day average of new daily cases from 29 yesterday to 32. The Virginia Department of Health also reported two new hospitalizations in the county related to the virus.
The county’s 7-day positivity percentage rose to 4.3% as of Oct. 17, the most recent date for which that information is available.
