Henrico Police to promote 17 officials

Henrico Police officials will promote 17 of their own during a ceremony Aug. 25.
John G. Huff will be promoted to the rank of major, while Kenneth R. Burnett, Salvatore R. Mulé, Ashley M. Robertson and Colin L. Rooney will be promoted to captain.
Jermaine O. Alley, Brian R. Hewes, Amy D. Kelley and Christopher G. Kovach will be promoted to lieutenant, while Damon L. Allen, Zachary C. Gallatin, Ross J. Lewis, Amy F. O’Keeffe and Robert C. Woodburn will be promoted to sergeant.
Jessica O. Smith will be promoted to manager of the Criminal Records section, Miranda Bush to office supervisor of the section and John A. Messler to specialist IV in the department of technology.
