Henrico Police: Shots fired in West End; 1 suspect critically injured, other apprehended

Two suspects, one of them critically injured, have been apprehended after shots were fired in Henrico's busy West End Sunday afternoon, according to authorities.

Officers were called to the 4000 block of Cox Road near Innsbrook around 4:40 p.m. for a larceny-related call, officials with Henrico Police said.

Dispatchers provided additional information while officers responded. Police said personal items were taken from a victim and that there were additional reports of a suspect with a gun.
