Henrico Police seeking witnesses in fatal crash

On January 31, Henrico Police and Fire responded to the eastbound lanes of the 7900 block of West Broad Street just before 6:30 p.m. for a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash involving a pickup truck. The pedestrian, Trinesse Robinson, 49, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
The crash closed the center and right lanes while crash team investigators collected evidence and documented the crash. The investigation remains active and police have collected area footage; videos of the footage are available on the HPD Twitter and Facebook pages. A Chevrolet pickup is believed to be involved.
Anyone who was traveling eastbound Broad Street and has information is asked to call Crash Investigator Bolinger at 501-5000. Citizens with information can also call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000, or submit tips via the P3 tips app; both methods are anonymous.
