Henrico Police are seeking the man who robbed a convenience store in Eastern Henrico Monday afternoon.
The suspect, a black male, robbed the store in the 400 block of East Laburnum Avenue at about 1:45 p.m. He had been waiting in line at the counter and then grabbed money from the register. A victim and the suspect struggled for the money before the suspect took it and fled the area on foot. No weapon was displayed.
The suspect (pictured) is described as 30 to 40 years old and was wearing black pants, a black jacket with grey sleeves and a black baseball cap with a multi-colored brim.
Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the subject. Anyone with information should contact Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000. Citizens also may text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by the tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
