Henrico Police seek man wanted in auto theft case

Henrico Police are seeking a 45-year-old county man in connection with the theft of an auto two years ago.
Charles Lorenzo Craig, II, 45, is wanted in connection with the theft of a 2004 Ford Explorer, which was reported stolen from the 00 block of North Virginia Avenue in Highland Springs during the overnight hours of Sept. 29, 2021.
The next month, an employee at a tow company notified Henrico Police detectives that he had towed the vehicle to a scrap yard without realizing it was stolen. Detectives identified two men, including Craig, who had provided the vehicle and requested equipment from it before it was towed away.
Police believe Craig may stay in the city of Richmond. The other suspect has been identified and charged.
