Henrico Police seek details about county's first homicide of 2025

Henrico Police officials are seeking information about the first homicide of 2025 in the county.
Police found 39-year-old Chad Michael Young dead just after midnight Feb. 4 in the driver's seat of a vehicle in the 5000 block of Charles City Road. They had been called to the scene following reports of a medical emergency.
Young had obvious signs of trauma, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are Henrico investigating the incident and will work with the Virginia Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine Young's cause of death.
