Henrico Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred in Henrico’s central patrol area.

On November 6 at approximately 7:01 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Cliffbrook Lane for a reported shooting. Once on scene, officers located a juvenile male, 17 years of age, and an adult male with apparent gunshot wounds to the legs. Officers immediately started life-saving measures until EMS personnel arrived on scene. Both victims were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries where they continue to receive treatment.

The preliminary investigation shows the victims were shot inside an apartment. Two males believed to be involved in the shooting were detained for questioning. One of them was arrested on unrelated charges of possession of a firearm with a Schedule I or II drug, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a Schedule I or II drug.
