Henrico Police and Commonwealth's Attorney Shannon Taylor are actively seeking to talk with anyone who may have additional information about the murder of Lucia Bremer, the 13-year-old Quioccasin Middle School student who was murdered last month in a neighborhood near Godwin High School. They have not identified any connection or previous relationship between Bremer and the 14-year-old boy, a former QMS student, charged in her death.

If you may have information, contact J. Seay (at 804-501-7323) or Z. Noah (804-501-5581) with Henrico Police.

The defendant remains in custody and next will appear at a status hearing in the Juvenile and Domestic Court Aug. 2 at 1 p.m. – nearly three months later than the originally scheduled May 4 hearing. Taylor told the Citizen that the delay occurred after "other pre-trial matters" were brought to the court's attention, though she was not able to provide details publicly about what those may have been.
