Henrico Police have arrested and charged a 27-year-old Henrico man with second-degree murder in connection with the July 30 shooting death of a man in the 2700 block of Byron Street, near Harvie Road and East Laburnum Avenue.
Danquail L. Ballou also is charged with the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. The shooting occurred shortly after 11 p.m. Officers provided emergency care to the victim, but he died at the scene. Police are withholding his named until his family has been notified.
