Henrico Police arrest one man, seek another in connection with woman’s murder

Henrico Police have arrested and charged a 21-year-old man with second-degree murder and a lesser charge in connection with the May 15 shooting death of a 41-year-old woman in Highland Springs, and they are seeking a 37-year-old man who is facing the same two charges.

Police arrested John Quincy Neal of Henrico June 15. In addition to the second-degree murder charge, he also faces a charge of using a firearm in the commission of a felony. He is being held at the Henrico County jail without bond in connection with the shooting death of Brittany Jo McDaniel, which occurred shortly after 3:15 p.m. at a home in the 600 block of Summer Court.

Police are seeking Montreal Javon Robinson, 37, also of Henrico, who is wanted on the same two charges. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
