Henrico Police arrest man after shooting on Laburnum Avenue

Henrico Police have arrested a 34-year-old county man, who now faces attempted malicious wounding and other charges after he allegedly fired a weapon toward another man as he was leaving a family member’s home in the 2300 block of East Laburnum Avenue just after 9 a.m. Nov. 16.
William Glasgow Johnson, III, 34, of the 3800 block of Candlegrove Court also is charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle, using a firearm in the commission of a felony, possessing a firearm by a convicted felon, and brandishing a gun. Police seized a gun from the property.
Johnson allegedly fired after an argument took place.
The uninjured victim was able to call 911. Johnson was taken into police custody just after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
