Henrico Police arrest, charge man in Eastern Henrico shooting

Henrico Police arrested and charged a 39-year-old man after an early morning shooting in Eastern Henrico March 10 left a woman with non-life-threatening injuries.
Shawn Roderick Collier was arrested on scene after the shooting, which occurred at about 1:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Newbridge Circle.
Collier faces charges of malicious wounding; use of a firearm during the commission of a felony; and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police considered the incident an isolated one and said there was no further threat to the community.
