Henrico Police arrest 26-year-old man in connection with July 12 homicide

Henrico Police have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old man July 12.
Ra’Quan Shaheim Gordon was taken into custody July 27 without incident during a police search of a residence where he was believed to be staying. Gordon faces a second-degree murder charge, one charge of using a firearm in the commission of a felony, and one charge of possession of a firearm by a felon.
Teshawn Damon Archer was found suffering from a gunshot wound July 12 shortly after 8 p.m. in the 7700 block of Northbourne Court. He died at the scene.
