Henrico NAACP to screen 'The Right to Read' May 21

The Right to Read tells the stories of an NAACP activist, a teacher, and two American families who fight for the youngest generation’s ability to read. Experts throughout the film discuss the current state of literacy in the United States and the importance of implementing reading skills into classroom instruction nationwide.

The showing will take place May 21 at 6 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center.
