The Henrico Ministers' Conference & Vicinity under the leadership of trailblazer, Rev. Zynora D. Manson, President the First Presidential Gathering Committee & Conference members decided to bestow a Lifetime Membership Award to honor Dr. Walton, and Rev. Thompson for allowing HMCV to fellowship in their facilities without cost for 20 years or more. Rev. Dr. Sailes has offered his facility to HMCV for hosting HMCV educational workshops, services and two Presidential Installations. He is retiring at the end of the year after 37 years of service at Antioch Baptist Church All three pastors have served as president of HMCV. President Manson believes it is essential to appreciate pastors and clergy while they are living and in good health.
With 150 in attendance, HMCV clergy and community assembled for fellowship at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Glen Allen Fellowship Hall for fellowship, food, fun and music ministry on Friday, December 8, 2023 while appreciating our honorees, and encouraging, strengthening each other.
Dr. C. Diane Mosby, pastor of Anointed New Life Baptist Church was the guest speaker. HMCV continues to serve as a light of hope for social justice concerns and meeting human needs of thousands of students and families living in low socioeconomic conditions in 20 Henrico County Public Schools as well as the homeless. HMCV partners with local churches to meet human needs in Ghana, Liberia, and Djibouti Africa. Our mission's theme is "We Share Because We Care."
