Henrico Ministers' Conference to host 35th annual worship service Jan. 18

The Henrico Ministers' Conference will host its 35th annual worship service Jan. 18 at 9:30 a.m. The event will be presented virtually on the Henrico Ministers’ Conference Facebook page and streamed live on YouTube. It will include guest speaker Rev. Dr. Theodore T. Brown, the pastor of Quioccasin Baptist Church.
All donations collected for the event will go to support the annual Henrico County Commemoration Service at 11:30 a.m. the same day.
Special guests will include Dr. Wanda Hunter Wherry, a renowned opera singer; the Virginia Union University Choir; and St. Peter's Child Development and Sunbeam Choir, among others.
The goal of the event each year is to honor the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. while encouraging community members to work together to help transform social justice inequities through peaceful reconciliation, according to Henrico Ministers’ Conference President Zynora D. Manson.
