Henrico Justice group plans rally, march Oct. 17 in Short Pump

Student-led group Henrico Justice will hold a demonstration at Short Pump Park Saturday, Oct. 17, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to march for justice for Breonna Taylor, a woman who was shot and killed by police in Louisville, Kentucky earlier this year.
“We will be marching in solidarity with Breonna Taylor and demanding that her killers be arrested and charged with her murder,” a member of the group told the Citizen.
It will be the organization’s fourth local project, each of which has attracted about 100 people. In addition to a march, the event will feature speakers, performers and artists.
