Henrico Humane Society to participate in ‘Dollars for Dogs’

Henrico Humane Society will participate in “Dollars for Dogs,” an online fundraising campaign, Aug. 19-26. It’s the fourth year that HHS has participated in the effort, which helps the organization sustain rescue efforts for pets in need. Donations may be made by visiting https://www.henricohumane.org/donate.
“The “Dollars for Dogs” fundraiser is an easy way to support HHS’s mission of finding permanent, loving homes for homeless pets in our care,” said Cara Salman, president of Henrico Humane Society. “Many of the pets we rescue are healthy, but others need extensive medical care, training and rehabilitation. Our goal is to raise $10,000 during this week-long fundraiser to give those pets an opportunity to live long, happy lives with their families.”
Donors who give $150 or more will receive a Henrico Humane Society t-shirt. Those who give any amount will be entered in a content to win a $25 Petco gift card. Visit HHS’s Facebook page for details.
