Henrico Humane Society plans Bark in the Park Dog Walk Sept. 14

The overall event is free to attend but registration for the 2k walk is $15 for one adult and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. Through Sept. 9, two adults can register together for $20. Funds raised will help support animals like April and June, two puppies who battled the life-threatening parvo disease at a cost of more than $5,000.
In addition to the walk, the event will feature vendors, contests ($3 per entry), a dog adoption area, and food for people and pets.
