The Henrico Health District will conduct free COVID-19 testing at Tuckahoe Middle School May 21. The school is located at 9000 Three Chopt Road.

Testing is only for those who are uninsured or underinsured, ages 5 or older who have COVID-19 symptoms, as well as those who are pregnant, are ages 65 or older, have underlying medical conditions that put them at risk such as diabetes, serious heart conditions, chronic respiratory conditions or who are immuno-compromised.

Testing will be conducted by appointment to facilitate safety and social distancing. Walk-up testing is available to persons who meet testing criteria, but is not guaranteed due to limited availability.

To register, call the Henrico Health District hotline at (804) 205-3501.

At yesterday's Henrico School Board meeting, HCPS Chief of Staff Beth Teigen told the board that Tuckahoe Middle is expected to become a weekly testing site "for the foreseeable future." Health officials have not yet released additional information about those plans.
