A Henrico student won an award in U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger's annual Congressional Art Competition.
Kathryn Hart of Henrico High School took third place with her graphite pencil and pastel pencil composition, “Introspection" (pictured above).
"I was deeply impressed by the sensitivity and skill of the submissions we received this year," said Spanberger. "Thank you to everyone who shared their work with us, and special thanks to the teachers and community leaders who work to protect and expand access to the arts in our Seventh District communities.”
