Table of Contents

The Henrico Education Foundation will host its fifth annual Excellence in Education Celebration April 10 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Science Museum of Virginia.

This year’s event will highlight the importance of health, wellness, and workforce readiness for Henrico students and the broader community. Sponsors and attendees will have the opportunity to engage with career development programs and HEF’s LifeReady Solutions initiatives.

Exhibits featuring students, HCPS staff, and community partners will highlight a range of transformative programs funded by HEF, including: mobile hands-on career exploration, student-led mental health advocacy, and entrepreneurial skills for students.

The fundraising event is designed to bring together a network of philanthropists, business leaders, volunteer leaders and elected officials. Investments from supporters provide HCPS students with opportunities to explore their talents and strengthen their academic and life skills.

The 2024 event, which celebrated workforce and career development in Henrico County, welcomed 550 attendees and raised a record-breaking $400,000 in direct support of public schools in Henrico County.

Sponsorship levels for the 2025 event range from $2,500 to $25,000. Interested sponsors can visit henricogives.org/celebration or contact HEF Chief Development Officer Jay Shively at (804) 877-9401 or jshively@henricogives.org.

Individual tickets can be purchased at henricogives.org/celebration and cost $125 per person. All proceeds from tickets sales will benefit the Henrico Education Foundation.
