Henrico EDA to host webinar about county’s internet infrastructure

The Henrico Economic Development Authority will host the fifth in its Henrico Internet Infrastructure webinar series March 22 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will describe how Henrico officials plotted their course through investment in internet infrastructure. Henrico EDA officials and industry officials from DE-CIX, QTS, InterGlobix, and Tindall Corporation will participate in the event to discuss the county’s growth as a highly regarded data connectivity site and its advancements, including:
• the evolution of White Oak Technology Park;
• the county’s unique access to four subsea cables, providing the fastest data speeds on Earth;
• recent integration with the largest neutral interconnection ecosystem in North America.
The event will include a question-and-answer session afterwards.
