Henrico Doctors' Hospital named top hospital in Virginia for gastrointestinal surgery

Henrico Doctors' Hospital was among several HCA Virginia hospitals recently recognized for their clinical performance in 16 specialties by Healthgrades, a leading consumer resource for healthcare information. The hospitals received multiple 2025 Specialty Excellence awards, highlighting their commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Henrico Doctors’ Hospital earned the top spot in the state for gastrointestinal surgery. It also was named to the following lists:
• America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Gastrointestinal Surgery Award;
• America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Joint Replacement Award;
• America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery Award;
• America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Prostate Surgery Award;
• America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Spine Surgery Award;
• America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Surgical Excellence Award.
