Henrico County high school scholar athletes honored

The Richmond Times-Dispatch/Sports Backers Scholar-Athlete Awards recently recognized Henrico students and others within the Richmond region for their athletic and academic achievements. The 31st annual awards ceremony was held at The Jefferson Hotel; it also was the first in-person ceremony since 2019, due to the COVID pandemic.
Six Henrico students were awarded $2,000 scholarships for their achievements. They were:
- Amani Kimball-McKavish - Collegiate
- Claudia Disbrow - Glen Allen
- Erin Langenburg - Steward
- Ethan Snow - Deep Run
- William Moore - Steward
- William Neuner - Collegiate
Claudia Disbrow of Glen Allen High School also was the recipient of the Cheryl Lockett Oliver Memorial Scholarship.
