Henrico County collecting Valentine's Day cards for 'Spread the Love' event

Henrico County is collecting homemade Valentine’s Day cards for its fifth-annual Spread the Love event.
Schools, faith-based organizations, social groups and residents are encouraged to participate by creating cards for local older adults living in a nursing home or assisted living facility. Cards should be generic and include an uplifting message to celebrate the Valentine’s Day season.
Cards may be dropped off at three locations:
• the Henrico Government Center lobby at 4301 East Parham Road;
• the Public Safety Building lobby at 7721 East Parham Road;
• the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center at 1440 North Laburnum Avenue.

Cards must be received by Thursday, Feb. 6 to be included in the distribution.
