Henrico conducts drive-through testing for select patients

Table of Contents

Henrico and Richmond health districts conducted drive-through COVID-19 testing at Dorey Park in Varina this afternoon for about 130 people who had displayed possible symptoms of the virus but were unable to receive tests when they visited their local healthcare providers in recent days.

The event was open only to those patients who had been in direct contact with the Virginia Department of Health. It was not open to the general public because the health districts had only a limited number of tests, according to Henrico officials. Those who were invited to the event had met the screening criteria established by the VDH and its Central Incident Management Team.

There is no word yet about whether any of them tested positive.
