Three companies with Henrico County ties have been selected among the six finalists for ChamberRVA's 2018 IMPACT Awards, which recognize businesses that have made an impact on the Richmond region economy and community, as well as on their employees.
Compare.com, based in Glen Allen, is a finalist in the small business category along with Dodson Property Management and Dominion Payroll. Compare.com is the largest car insurance comparison website in the country.
In the large business category, CapTech and Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP are finalists, along with Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia.
CapTech, a national IT management firm based in Henrico, offers custom IT and management consulting solutions to its Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 clients. One of the top twenty public accounting firms in the nation, Dixon Hughes Goodman has offices in Glen Allen and provides audit, accounting and tax services.
The IMPACT Awards' small business category comprises organizations with 149 employees or fewer, and large business category those with 150 employees or more. Finalists are selected by a committee of local business and community leaders. The 2018 IMPACT Award winners will be announced at the celebration dinner in November at the Richmond Marriott.
