The Henrico Citizen has debuted a new language translation option on HenricoCitizen.com, allowing all content on the website to be viewed in more than 30 languages.

The enhancement is designed to allow better access to Henrico news and information for the county's immigrant and refugee populations and others for whom English may not be a primary language.

"We're always seeking ways to help inform as many people in Henrico County as we can, and we recognized that language can present a barrier for some," Citizen Publisher Tom Lappas said. "We hope that this new feature will help remove that hindrance for many readers."

To read the Citizen in a different language, simply click on the American flag in the upper right hand corner of the site and then select the new desired language from the drop-down menu. To switch back to English, select the American flag.
