ELECTION 2023: Henrico Board of Supervisors candidate forum planned Sept. 13

Four community organizations will sponsor a Henrico County Board of Supervisors candidates forum Thursday, Sept. 13, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Lipman Auditorium in the Massey Library Technology Center at J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College, 1651 East Parham Road.
The Sierra Club - Falls of the James Group, Henrico NAACP, Partnership for Smarter Growth and Henrico Conservation Action Network are sponsoring the event. All candidates for the board from each of Henrico’s five magisterial districts have been invited to attend.
The event is designed to help voters learn more about each candidate and where they stand on a range of issues. Topics will include climate action and conservation; development, housing, and transportation; and government transparency and civil rights. Questions will be provided to the candidates in advance.
Henrico Citizen Publisher Tom Lappas will serve as the event’s moderator.
