Table of Contents

Henrico Schools officials will host a teacher-hiring event March 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Glen Allen High School, 10700 Staples Mill Road.

Teachers and other professionals interested in joining the school system are invited to talk with administrators from schools across Henrico County at the event. All 72 of the county's public schools and program centers will be represented at the event.

Walk-ins are welcome, but registration by Feb. 27 is strongly encouraged so that interviews with top candidates can be scheduled to take place at the hiring event. To register, visit henricoschools.us/careers.

The school system is seeking teachers for all content areas for the 2019-20 school year, as well as school counselors, librarians, psychologists, social workers and nurses. Officials also will also be interviewing candidates for bus driver positions. Staff members from the school division’s human resources department, as well as representatives from individual schools, will be present.

Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple hard copies of their resumes to share with school administrators.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held March 23.

If you are interested in teaching but don’t have a license yet, officials will present an information session about teacher licensure in the auditorium from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Attendees must register in advance and bring their confirmation emails in order to attend the event, which is limited to 250 participants. Visit henricoschools.us/careers to complete the registration form.
