Henrico Schools will host a job fair Feb. 13 to meet with candidates for full-time and part-time bus driver, school nutrition and temporary instructional assistant positions, as well as those seeking jobs with the system's Department of Construction and Maintenance.
The event will take place at Libbie Mill Library, 2100 Libbie Lake East Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Representatives from the HCPS Human Resources Department, as well as departmental representatives, will attend.
Qualified driver candidates will be paid as they train. Candidates for full-time and substitute bus drivers must: be at least 21 years old; have a valid Virginia driver’s license; obtain a CDL Class B instructional permit or hold a CDL Class B license with endorsements in P (Transporting Passengers)/S (School Bus) and airbrakes; pass a physical and drug test and have no felony convictions.
