All nine of Henrico County’s high school marching bands will be in action at the HCPS Band Showcase Oct. 22 at Glen Allen High School’s stadium.
The performance is free, but donations are being accepted to benefit the Henrico Christmas Mother. In addition to cash donations, the holiday campaign is seeking canned food; jars of peanut butter; cereal and crackers; and new hats, gloves and socks.
The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the school, 10700 Staples Mill Road in Glen Allen.
