HCPS Band Showcase planned for Oct. 17

J.R. Tucker High School will host the Henrico County Public Schools’ 2022 Band Showcase Oct. 17, providing attendees the chance to see all nine of the county’s high school bands perform at the same time.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is free, but donations will be accepted at the gate for the Henrico Christmas Mother campaign. Attendees will be able to meet Maria Bagley, this year’s Henrico Christmas Mother, and celebrate the 80th anniversary of this community program by bringing donations of canned goods; peanut butter; cereal; crackers; hats, gloves and socks; and monetary support.
Refreshments will be available for purchase at the event.
Tucker High School is located at 2910 North Parham Road.
