GRTC to host block party July 10 to celebrate expanded Henrico service

GRTC will host a block party at St. Joseph's Villa in Northern Henrico July 10 to celebrate the launch of its new Route 1 extension service in the county.
On June 30, GRTC and Henrico County partnered to extend GRTC Route 1 farther north, to Parham Road/Reynolds Community College.
The party, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., also will include officials from Henrico County, the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation and Reynolds Community College, and will feature ice cream and other refreshments for attendees. GRTC staff members will be present to speak about the new service, upcoming projects, and more.
